Strawman

Tarok

A 2-player trick-taking game using the full 54-card Tarock deck. One player becomes the Declarer and the other the Defender. Each player holds 15 cards plus three face-down Strawman piles of 4 cards each, revealed gradually during play. The Declarer needs at least 36 of 70 card_points to win the round.

Contracts

  • DeclarerStandard contract. Declarer needs at least 36 of 70 card_points to win the round. Won: +2 VP to Declarer; Lost: −3 VP to Declarer (i.e. Declarer pays 3 VP). The asymmetric +2/−3 VP shape is encoded in win-conditions.json; the multiplier field records the base contract scalar (1×) per the MECHANICS-MATRIX spec.
  • TrischakenBoth-pass fallback contract (Spiele value: 2). Each player tries to collect as few card_points as possible. Stichzwang (must-head trick) is ON for Trischaken. Bunt-gemischt scoring applies: the player with the most card_points at the end loses and pays 2 VP. No Zusätze scored during Trischaken.
