Your pile is down to one visible card, the Jā¦. You play it to follow a Diamond trick.
What happens next, and what does your opponent get to see?

Answer
The pile turns over its final card, the true bottom card of that pile. Unlike every earlier reveal, this one is never shown to anyone at the table: whether it is a Tarok, a King, or a bare numeral, it slides straight into your hand face-down, and your opponent never learns what it was, only that the pile is now empty. Ordinary cascading Taroks and Kings are shown to the whole table on their way into your hand; the last card of a pile is the one truly private gift Strawman deals you.
